    ASML zal weinig machines produceren zonder opdracht.
    Het risico is beperkt omdat er vast deelbetalingen zijn ( bij opdracht, bij start productie, leverering e.d.)

    US and China are Getting Closer after talks in Malaysia
    After two days of talks, the US and China have reached a “very successful” framework for the upcoming meeting with Trump and Xi.
    Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made the comment after two days of talks in Malaysia which took place at the skyscraper Merdeka 118.
    US and Chinese officials have been hashing out final details of a proposal for a trade deal in Kuala Lumpur as the two sides prepare for an expected leaders’ summit on Thursday.
    Bessent told reporters that the two sides discussed agricultural purchases, TikTok, fentanyl, trade, rare earths and the overall bilateral relationship. He described the talks as “constructive, far-reaching and in-depth, and giving us the ability to move forward to set the stage for the leaders meeting in a very positive framework.”
    The Chinese delegation has yet to make any public remarks. Vice Premier He Lifeng led the Chinese side.
    Trump, speaking earlier to reporters aboard Air Force One, said he hopes the talks with Xi would yield “a complete deal.”
    The meeting would be the first face-to-face between the leaders of the two biggest economies since Trump returned to the White House in January.

    Besi heeft laten weten dat TSMC hun orders voor Q3 verschoven hebben naar dit kwartaal Q4 2025 de reden : de overstromingen die Taiwan geteisterd hebben waardoor de bouw van TSMC nieuwste chipfabriek vertraging opliep.

    Als dit voor Besi geldt zal dit ongetwijfeld ook voor ASML en ASMI gelden en zullen de ordes voor ASML in Q4 voor TSMC dus geplaatst worden

    Scherp (duimpje), maar of dat zo is, is de vraag...

    TSMC AP7-fabriek in Taiwan, waar het specifiek bij Besi over gaat, is een backend/advanced packaging fabriek! Dus de kans is zeer klein dat hier front-end equipment voor nodig is. Die staan in andere plants op Taiwan.
