    99% kans dat er geen onderzoek komt naar voorkennis. Als dat er wel komt 99% kans dat er niemand veroordeeld wordt.
    Volgende keer dat Trump aankondigt dat het een great time is to buy (or sell) blijkt mogelijk het tegengestelde waardoor er weer wat miljarden verplaatst worden naar rijke vrinden. Triest maar interessant om te volgen.

    Christophe Fouquet (de CEO) hoeft niet te klagen....

    Ook de top drie best verdienende ceo’s van de AEX waarvan we de beloning wel hebben kunnen meten, zijn buitenlands. Erik Engstrom van Relx werd in 2024 met bijna €16 miljoen het best betaald, gevolgd door -voor het laatst in deze lijst- Nancy McKinstry van WoltersKluwer met bijna €13 miljoen. Wael Sawan, topman van Shell, was derde met ruim €10 miljoen. Richard Blickman van beurslieveling Besi, valt terug van de eerste plek naar plaats zes na het afschaffen van een bijzondere bonuscomponent.

    Mooi! Maar dit zegt niets over het vertrouwen en sentiment. We hebben al vaak genoeg meegemaakt dat de cijfers booming waren en richting het zuiden ging. Enig realisme en logica is er domweg niet meer. Hoe luid het gezegde ook al weer: vertrouwen komt te voet en gaat te paard.

    Wordt knallen maandag. Fijn dat ik ASML, ASMI en Besi flink heb bijgekocht op bonusaanbiedingen afgelopen weken. Altijd grappig dat velen deze stukken niet kopen op €550, €350 of €82....

    In ieder geval het ontzien van veel producten van de semiconductor-sector.
    Deze stonden onder druk door die tarieven m.a.g. de koersbewegingen.
    Het zou als een relief gezien kunnen worden....

    I would interpret the tariff exemptions primarily as an attempt to mitigate the impact on electronics and consumers more than as a signal of a US-China deal. The exempted categories cover about 22% of US imports from China.

    Investing.com -- Late Friday, the United States took a step that could be favorable for tech companies like Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) by exempting certain electronics from the reciprocal tariffs previously imposed by President Donald Trump. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released a list late on Friday, detailing around 20 products that would no longer be subject to these tariffs. Items on the list include smartphones, computers, semiconductor-based transducers, solid-state storage devices, and flat panel displays.
